We had a lovely coffee break here with a choice of moist, delicious cakes. Costa Coffee could learn from this establishment. There is an interesting connection with Thomas Muir, the local radical. There are also benches and tables in an outside courtyard - when the weather permits!

Lovely coffee shop next to a small gift shop.
There is a good range of food, everything I've tried has been very tasty. The baking is fabulous - especially the empire biscuits and toffee cups! There are a few gluten free options which taste great.,
The staff are always very friendly and welcoming.

I had only recently heard that there was a café named after Thomas Muir of Huntershill, (A Scottish Radical) so I just had to try it out, we passed it twice before we found the entrance, but it was well worth the journey. The place was spotless clean, the toilets put some good restaurants to shame, the food was first class and we enjoyed the home baking, we will definitely return now we know how to get into the car park.
