Needed a room for a gig at the hydro - and this came up.

Reasonable price for glasgow, 10 minute walk from the Hydro over the footbridge and close to loads of bars shops and restaurants. If you were making a weekend of it it is a good location to see the rest of glasgow too (west end and close to trains).

We had a room of 4, everything we needed and breakfast provided.

A super hotel with a spotless cosy room and a good breakfast. No need for a car as buses run frequently from all around hotel.
The staff were typical Glasgow polite friendly and efficient. Would strongly recommend. Don't let the very reasonable rates deter you. This is a real find.

Breakfast is a zoo, last serving is at 8.30 , however they can't fit in the people who show up because they squeeze them all in over the same hour. This leads to people being either unable to get tables or being forced by staff to sit with strangers.

However, this wasn't what made the visit literally s**t. The toilet in our attic room didn't flush properly leaving me attempting to clean up after wards. And yes that was every bit as disgusting as it sounds. I found myself in the embarrassing position of having to apologise and explain to staff because of the mess left behind in the toilet. Not an experience I have any desire to repeat on what was supposed to be a romantic stay with my girlfriend.

Four of us stayed for one night. It was fine. The best thing was the staff. They were very thoughtful and kind. The rooms were fine. Easy walking to the SECC. Could be a bit more modern but it's a friendly little b&b
