Loved this place. Great, efficient non intrusive service. The food was also excellent with a great selection and the quality and flavour far exceeds any other Chinese restaurant I’ve ever visited.

Visited Opium with a group of friends, the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had the vegetables with Tofu, it was very tasty.

This is a highly recommended Chinese restaurant in Glasgow. When we were there, all the diners were Caucasian and we were the only Chinese. My first guess was the food is probably suitable for the Caucasians’ taste which is more salty.
True enough, the food we had were very salty. We complained to the staff about this. They were very apologetic and recook some of our dishes. The even off us complimentary vegetable which we declined as we were full. The boss came out and apologise and made some adjustment to the bill.
I compliment the boss and the staff of this restaurant for being so attentive to the customers’ complain. Perhaps I should have asked for less salt in our food. I will go back to them as their respond to complain was excellent.

The dumplings in here are always amazing. Best in glasgow! Can tell they’re fresh made and always full of flavour.

You could argue that some dishes are expensive on the menu but it’s worth paying that little bit extra for quality.

Never had anything bad from it! Ate here numerous times now.

Happy to be here again, to as it seems a family run business. We decided to go for dumplings only and we were not wrong. The only thing I did not like was ribs which were seasoned with glutamate, and that is a quite common in Chinese cuisine.

Will be back again!
