This was our 2nd stay at this cottage and it was pleasing to see the carpets and some furniture items has been renewed. It is a nice little cottage and it needed the new carpets. We had some great weather so we enjoyed the courtyard. We will be back again. Thank you for all your help Steven. Cheers, Andy
Excellent very comfortable with two couples. Well equiped and immediate attention to some minor problems
This property is clearly a student dwelling during term time at St Andrews. Whilst it was clean, there were various things that could be rectified to improve it. The loo seat in the upstairs shower room did not fit the toilet bowl and was also very loose, 2 of the 3 toilet door locks did not work, the dishwasher upper rack was broken so that if you pulled it out it would not go back in properly, the door knobs were hanging off in a couple of the bedrooms and the second bottom step on the stairs was broken so it moves as you step on it - something we all learnt quickly to avoid falling up/down the stairs. The rooms could also do with a lick of white paint (three of them are currently dark peach, blue and dark lilac). Whilst it is fine for a short break it is certainly not the nicest cottage we have stayed in in St Andrews.
Our 5th time staying in this excellent property. As always the property was clean and tidy and its' central location is first class. Décor and living room furniture is a little bit tired and could benefit from a freshen up but it is well equipped.
