My colleagues and I went to St Andrews for a conference and we booked this accommodation for 4 nights. Since the beginning, the hosts appeared very friendly and considerate. Very good breakfast and the rooms were warm, nice and with all the necessary

Had an enjoyable few days with friends in St Andrews and the hosts Mike & Chris, who operate the Lorimer Guest House were excellent, Mike was very knowledgable and assisted in a number of ways that made the stay in St Andrews hassle free. Chris was a behind the scenes sort of person who ensured those little things were done and made the stay trouble free and her breakfasts was just what you needed. Thoroughly first class hosts. I can highly recommend this as a destination when or if your visiting the area around St Andrews. Thanks guys for a great few days.

Just back from our 3 night stay. The guest house was beautifully maintained and welcoming. Michael and Chris could not have been more attentive or helpful to our needs. His knowledge of the courses was as informative as you would expect from a past Captain of St. Andrews, and he made sure we had plenty of Chris’s tasty breakfast in us before we tackled the winds and hazards out on the Links. Thanks for the personal service.

Room tip: Plenty of free parking outside or round the corner

Michael and Chris are charming hosts - informative and helpful with plans and directions. Their place is delightful - accomodated 8 family members traveling together - two of which are over 6'7" tall. The breakfasts are delicious and there is plenty to eat. Also, their location is just around the corner from the Old Course at St. Andrews Links. Highly recommend this place. Only wish we could have stayed longer.
