This brilliant place as just been taken over and unfortunately seems to be rapidly going down hill. Gone are the delicious fruit slices and home made cakes to be replaced by cling film covered cheap mass produced cakes. The square sausage used to be brilliant, now its dried up and not very pleasant, although this is down to the cooking as much as anything. Black Americano is still good but avoid a flat white, its just hot milk with a very small hint of coffee and is best avoided. Shame that this as happened and if it doesn't change, can see it not lasting long.

Visited with hubby today for breakfast. He had a large breakfast with toast and coffee - a lovely plateful which he said was delicious . I had a crispy bacon roll and a pot of tea - perfect.
The staff are the best, so friendly.and very welcoming. The Deli appears spotless and tables were cleared straight away.
Excellent all round

Visited with my aunt after a shopping trip, both had the macaroni and chips main meal priced at £6.95, very generous portion and very tasty, nice clean surroundings and friendly welcoming staff and a good atmosphere, will definitely be back!

Visited this little cafe for breakfast a few times over the last few months and continually impressed by the quality of the food. £7 or £8 gets you a nice little plate (three items) plus toast and tea. Have tried the Haggis, black pudding, scrambled eggs and potato scones, all of which are tasty and cooked well. As someone who stays in hotels relatively frequently this little plate compares favourably with someone breakfasts I've had at 2 or 3 times the price.
The cafe itself is nothing fancy, but when you just want a quick bite to start the day and a read of the paper what more do you need.
Will definitely keep this on my list of regular places to have breakfast in and around Falkirk.
