Lovely apartment in a quiet location yet only 10 minutes from buses, trams & trains. We were met on arrival by the owner who gave us a quick tour and also handy directions to local shops. We were left a welcome basket of goodies which was much appreciated. The apartment was comfortably furnished - the bed very comfortable!
The Edinburgh transport system is very efficient. We would recommend buying a travel card from one of the travel shops to use on the buses. It saves having to find the correct amount each time as the bus drivers can't give change.
Lovely clean and peaceful apartment. Well situated within 10 minutes walk from city centre. Greeted on arrival by Alison who gave us a detailed tour of unit and facilities, which included a welcome basket of wine, cheese and other goodies.
Would highly recommend.
Great main floor flat located in a quiet yet centrally located area in Edinburgh's west end. This is the second time we have stayed here and it won't be our last. Perfect for a couple. A 10 minute walk to the heart of Edinburgh and close to grocery stores and great restaurants and shops.
This is a one bedroom flat with separate kitchen sitting room and covered outdoor breakfast area. This in an intelligently converted garage in a quiet street of mews cottages. It is very convenient for the West End and Haymarket with the tram nearby. There was a nice welcome pack of cheese and wine and the flat had all the necessary amenities - wifi, TV etc.
The main bedroom has a divider screen which enables you to have a third person to stay in a sofa bed but it becomes a tight squeeze.

We were in Edinburgh for the Hogmanay celebrations and wanted somewhere close to the City Centre. This property is tucked down a small cobbled street so is quiet yet only 15 minutes walk to Princes Street. The property is all on one level and whilst only small is perfect for two. It is nicely decorated, well equipped, warm and comfortable. Alison met us at the property within 5 minutes of us arriving and showed us round. She also left us a welcome basket which included wine and Scottish cheese and biscuits - a lovely gesture. The only downside as far as we were concerned is there is no parking as it's residents permits only. There is metered parking within a minutes walk however the maximum stay is 4 hours between 08.30 and 18.30 which means you would need to move your car during the day (and would cost about £25 per day). It is free after 18.30. However we didn't need our car for the short time we were there so after we had unloaded Alison kindly showed us on a map where we could park the car on the road which was only about a 20 minute walk. The cost was very reasonable for the New Year period and the property was definitely more comfortable than just a hotel room. If we ever return to Edinburgh we would have no hesitation in stopping here again.
