We have recently bought a flat in the area and had popped in one day for a quick coffee. We liked the look of the menu, so a few weeks later went back to eat.
We hadn’t booked but were told that a table would be available if we popped back in half an hour. We are so glad we said yes!
The place was full, a great atmosphere and fabulous food. We ordered 6 tapas and bread between the two of us and that was plenty (leaving room to share a churros!). We particularly enjoyed the Chorizo al vino and the goats cheese filo parcels.
It was busy, so we had to wait but that wasn’t a problem. The staff were friendly and efficient.
We will definitely be revisiting Serrano & Manchego, but we will remember to book....

Great selection of tapas, friendly atmosphere and sharp service, well worth a visit. The place was fairly busy but they managed to squeeze us in despite not having booked ahead.

We were stranded in Edinburgh due to snow and had hours to kill two days in a row before we were able to check in to our B&B. We did eat breakfast and lunch/snacks but our “Spanish” (Cretan) host could not have been more hospitable and kind.
We watched him and other staff be equally solicitous to other guests, so well done to your lovely staff.
Oh, and the food and coffee was great too, and great value.

Gorgeous food!!!
Ate early evening so not many others .... however the service was warm and helpful- good recommendations when we asked- and the food was fabulous! Couldn't fault the fresh, authentic tapas . Would highly recommend!

Went here for a quick bite to eat with my husband - we had to wait over half an hour for any food to arrive. When we complained we were told by the waiter “you’ve only been waiting 35 minutes, the food in a tapas bar comes when it is ready”. I found this really poor as some of the courses we had ordered were only cheese, ham etc... to be fair when the food came it was delicious... but in short, for the slow service alone - I wouldn’t recommend!
