“Short Break”
Reviewed 13 June 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Arrangements very easy to make. Lovely apartment with everything needed to make a comfortable stay. Small patio area very nice for drinks in the evening. Excellent location half way up Royal Mile. Walking distance to most places. Would recommend to everyone. Thank you.

“This is the perfect holiday apartment in a perfect Edinburgh location.”
Reviewed 5 June 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Most importantly I have to thank our hosts, Kate and David! We were greeted by Kate, shown the apartment and told how certain things worked. The kitchen was beautifully equipped and there was milk in the refrigerator and honey in the cupboard. The special touches around the apartment made us feel right at home. There was even a cleverly drawn framed map in the entryway to help us acclimate ourselves to the city with plenty of books and brochures to assist with our Edinburgh adventure.
The location is absolutely perfect! We were able to walk to the grocery store and stock up for the week. We walked to every place that we wanted to visit in the city and were easily able to find bus 37 to visit the Rosslyn Chapel and bus 35 to see the Britannia. We even went to St Patrick's for mass, which was right down the street.
It was so nice to be able to get the most out of our week long stay in Edinburgh during the day and then be able to go "home", cook dinner and relax in the evenings.
Again, a heart felt thank you to Kate and David.

“Wonderful location on the historic Royal Mile!”
Reviewed 22 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Very nicely appointed flat and centrally located for restaurants and sightseeing. Owners had left us tea, coffee, milk and shortbread which was a very thoughtful touch. Will definitely visit again!

“Great location!”
Reviewed 21 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Tweeddale Court is charming. It was a very comfortable flat to come back to after a day of sightseeing. And the location on the Royal Mile was ideal.

“Great location and gracious owner”
Reviewed 8 December 2014 for a stay in December 2014

Great location and very cosy/comfortable/clean apartment for a small family. It's on the Royal Mile and all the attractions such as Edinburgh Castle, National Museum of Scotland, Waverly Bridge (for the bus tours) and Dynamic Earth are within walking distance. Price for the apartment is also very reasonable. The owner Kate was very accommodating and allowed us to check in early as our flight arrived early. Just note that the apartment is on the 3rd floor so you need to carry your luggage up - but the apartments on the Royal Mile are very old buildings so you won't find an elevator in any apartments here. Kate was also kind enough to help us carry one luggage to the apartment!
