The flat is really cosy, clean and has a lot of character. Best of all, it is located within easy walking distance of Edinburgh's main attractions and nightlife. Can not recommend enough. Many thanks!
Stayed here for a lovely weekend with husband and two adolescent daughters. Cosy but entirely adequate for a family of four for a short stay. Secure, warm, comfortable, spotless, and we liked the decor and choice of reading material. Milk and champagne were in the fridge for us and we had a friendly welcome from the owner's son. This flat is five minutes on foot from Grassmarket. We were able to walk everywhere. Nice cafes and small supermarkets for supplies are just around the corner.

The apartment is very well situated , absolutely lovely inside and very tastefully furnished and decorated. In easy reach to the Grassmarket and other central sights only a short walk away. It served as a perfect weekend retreat. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the city.
Great place to stay when you are wanting to explore central Edinburgh!
The apartment - large bedroom, comfortable bed (as was the futon in the sitting room!), cute kitchen with all the little touches thought of to be able to cook for yourself and lovely eclectic decorating touches throughout. Heating was cozy - heated up within minutes of coming in from some cold November weather.
Location - centrally located near Grassmarket - lots of restaurants, take-away or groceries right around the corner. Able to walk to Grassmarket (3 min), to Edinburgh Castle (12 min), Usher Hall for symphony (5 min), Waverly Station (20-25 min), Princes Street Gardens (10 min), University of Edinburgh McEwan Hall (8 min) - there is always a little bit of up and down in Edinburgh but this location puts you right in the middle to keep that to a minimum. Walking with my parents (both in their 70s) we were able to cover all of this (including the walk to Waverly Station with our suitcases - a couple breaks were had on the numerous benches provided along Princes St. :) )
Hosts - very helpful with any questions, directions, etc. Easy to communicate with and think of everything you might need.
The apartment was really lovely - a homely feel, with plants, books, decorations and nice furniture. It is in a perfect location for all the Edinburgh sights, sounds and sensations; an easy walk to Princes St. the Royal Mile, Brunstfield and Morningside, and pretty much anywhere you wish to get to.
The owners were very accommodating - answering all questions prior to our stay, and giving us suggestions of places to go that interested us.
We couldn't have wished for a better location, apartment or holiday; it was perfect.
