First of all the people there that we met were extremely friendly. We did not meet the owner in person, but we did text back and fourth. However, maybe it is my novice traveling experience in Scotland, but to be on the 3rd floor up a very small set of stairs was very difficult (obviously no lift), especially with our luggage. Then on the coldest night, there was no heat in that room and although there was a heater in the room, there was no instructions on how to turn it on and so sadly we spent one of our nights there VERY cold. I wouldn't go back again unless I was able to make a room request. Then I'm sure it would have been a much better stay!
Big BONUS was how extremely convenient the bus was - almost directly in front of the house. That was very nice to have access to.More
