“Fantastic Place”
Reviewed 14 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Our family of 8 including a toddler stayed 4 days at this location. It was perfect for our size of group giving us lots of space over two floors. It wasn't too far a walk to Old Edinburgh and lots of restaurants were near by. It was great to also be able to cook or order in rather than always eating out. The building was very quiet. Would definitely stay again.

“Quirky apartment in the heart of Edinburgh”
Reviewed 14 July 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We were a group of 9 hens for my sister's hen do in June and this apartment was the perfect place to enjoy quality time together (we loved the large lounge and dining table!), as well as being the perfect distance from the city centre (only a 10 min walk).

We loved the quirky layout and decor and the host, Melanie, couldn't have been more friendly and helpful! I also only found this apartment, as I widened my search to a 3 night stay, which actually worked out the same cost as 2 nights, so it's very food value!

I'd definitely recommend this for a group wanting a really nice base in a central location and I'd definitely go back - and have lots more of Edinburgh to explore!!

“Great location, in need of some TLC”
Reviewed 30 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

6 of us stayed here for a weekend away. We found the property to be in a great, central location, easy to get to any area of the city either by taxi or by foot. It was also just a short walk away from the local supermarket. The house itself is lovely, very spacious and great if you are looking to be able to come and go as you please and cater for yourselves, as we were, as there are plenty of utilities and a lot of space. Saying this, the house is in need of some serious TLC. A lot of the crockery we found to be chipped and in need of replacing and the place itself just needs a general deep clean. Not in any way uninhabitable but not necessarily a home away from home. Bathrooms and kitchen especially need looking at. But other than that a great find, would definitely recommend. We also found we could not connect to the wifi unless in the same room as the router.

“Fantastic”
Reviewed 21 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

I stayed at this apartment as part of a group of eleven ladies. The apartment is well equipped in a good location. It was spotlessly clean and well decorated. It had everything we needed. It was a little cramped for 11 adults, but didn't phase us at all and we still had a fantastic stay. If I were to return to Edinburgh, there is no doubt I'd stay here again. Loved it!

“Fantastic property”
Reviewed 17 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

I rented this apartment for 6 adults and 4 children. We were part of a family wedding party, the wedding was at Mansfied Traquair (less than five minute walk). The apartment was fabulous, it accommodated all of us with room to spare. It has two levels and two living spaces which allowed for bored kids to watch TV whilst the adults stressed about wedding arrangements. The dining kitchen was well equipped - enough for the baking and icing of wedding cakes and dinner preparation for even more extended family.
The location was perfect with a Tesco within 10 minutes, John Lewis and other shops within half a mile and the castle just over a mile away.
