On a recent visit to Edinburgh my girlfriend and I were looking for a decent curry house, we found this one through TripAdvisor's City Guide App (Highly recommended if you're in this part of Scotland).
The restaurant itself has limited space but this only serves to add to the charm of the place. We entered and were the only customers there at the time, I don't know if this biased our impression of the service but it was fantastic throughout. We were greeted at the door with a smile and showed to our seats, the server then went on to comprehensively explain the restaurants dedication to quality food. He implored us to point out any flaws in our meals immediately if we found them, eradicating any sense of awkwardness that can sometimes pervade restaurant visits should the food be unsatisfactory. There was no doubt that this restaurant was willing to take criticism and improve its food upon it, an honourable quality in any restaurant in my books!
Thankfully no criticism was necessary, the food was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and I was even offered a job as I dined! I had to decline on account of the fact that I live in London (I reckon I'd have been late for a few shifts!) but such an offer only serves to emphasise the inclusive experience that The Curry Cafe provides.
If you're in Edinburgh and looking for a great night out and fantastic food then look no further than The Curry Cafe. It is a restaurant dedicated to top quality customer service and top quality food.
