I highly recommend staying at Ladystairs, this is a fabulous location and apartment. From the moment I booked, it was a very organised, helpful and easy arrangement even down to a very handy list of nearby restaurants being emailed to me.
The apartment was very clean and recently remodelled (shower was great!) and we found it very enjoyable to sit in the window seat and watch the happenings on the Royal Mile.
The stairs were a bit daunting after a day walking the hills of Edinburgh but that was more to do with my fitness level, or lack thereof!
Also, if catching the tram from airport, I would suggest dragging your suitcases down to North Bridge past The Balmoral and coming up to the Royal Mile that way to the apartment to miss the steps or steeper hill!
I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
Stayed at this lovely apartment in early August for 4 days.
apartment is perfect for a couple who want to be in the heart of Edinburgh. We loved the location. Apartment was well equipped. My only mini grumble would be the shower, but that's because we are used o a more powerful shower at home. Would I stay again? Absolutely.....

Every thing for a couple for a really good time in the heart of old town. Not suitable for disabled guests due to steps. Can take 4 adults but a squeeze. The wifi is good and good support available.
Perfect little apartment! Me and 2 friends stayed for the weekend and we absolutely loved it. Perfect location, so much to do near by and the apartment itself is a great size and was lovely to stay in. We will definitely be back here!
Loves our time in the Ladystairs 2 apartment. Very well located in the centre of town, waking up to the sound of bagpipes from the Royal Mile we knew we were in Scotland! Well equipped kitchen meant breakfast cooking was easy, and bed nice and comfortable too.
