This was our second visit to Edinburgh and we visited Carrubbers the first time. We like it so much that we made a special effort to go back again. We just had drinks this time but the food looked and smelled great. The staff are really friendly and helpful We were offered top ups of our drinks. It is such a lovely relaxing place to be. Highly recommend.

I visited this cafe the first time a little bit by accident, but then returned because the pancakes are yummy, my children loved being able to play with the wooden train tracks and other toys and the people in there are lovely. I highly recommend you give it a try!

Had breakfast with my family and enjoyed the pancakes with bacon and maple. So delicious and the atmosphere was a breath of fresh air. Enjoyed the worship music as a refreshing start to our day. Left feelings filled both physically and spiritually. A wonderful place to enjoy a meal.

Met up with friends here last Monday. Great atmosphere, warm and friendly staff. We sat for a couple of hours chatting, drinking tea and having lunch. We did not feel rushed or under any pressure to move along. Highly recommend the scones and soup. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to my next visit.
