A real jewel of a place and a lovely surprise to stumble upon in Edinburgh. Perfect for those looking for nuts, teas, spices The owner, Saleh is wonderful and offered us a rejuvenating tea of his own blend while we were shopping. Had a lovely chat with him as well. More than a shop, more than a business - this place has heart and soul! Thank you :) from Heather and I

One of the best shops. Fantastic choice, best service, tasty food (perfect if you're vegan or vegetarian- I'm neither still love it). Spices, tea, nuts, snacks, oils, falafels... Always worth a visit :-)

I love this little shop (it's a shop not a cafe, though it does do a good trade in take away Middle Eastern snacks) and walk quite a long way to visit it.

It has a great range of groceries, fresh foods and some eco cleaning products and shampoos, etc. The spices, etc are really good value. There is a huge choice of different types and makes of tea. I come especially for the St Dalfour jam - they have far more varieties than any supermarket - and for the organic flour. They also do good olives, pasta, lots of baclava, chocolate, dried fruits - good dates especially - and the take-away snacks are hugely popular. Prices are far lower than many such shops.

The guys on the counter are very helpful and friendly too.

Highly recommended.

This is not a restaurant, but an excellent whole-foods shop. I live nearby, and I visit this shop for a lot of essentials. It's heaven for all of us looking for organic and vegan items. I buy tea, olive oil, sweets, washing powder, toothpaste, shampoo, pasta, peanut butter, chia seeds, beans, etc, here.

On Sundays, you can meet the owner himself, providing you with lovely homemade tea and a nice chat.

This is not a restaurant but a little middle eastern shop with some pre-made items to take away. They have a great selection of teas, spices, and other items you would need for making middle eastern food. It's a great place to come if you need rose water, cous cous, nigella seeds, dates, barberries, etc. The prices are pretty good too!
