Had dinner in the Brasserie during a stay at Norton House Hotel and Spa.

The menu was reasonable and the food good. prices for wine where not particularly dear.

The service was OK, but no more than that. I enjoyed my steak and it was cooked the way I asked.

My Husband and I popped into the conservatory in Norton House for a light lunch, the menu had no prices but we proceeded and order just a club sandwich to share as we were going for dinner later, when it arrived it was not a club sandwich but a toastie with the usual filling of a club sandwich, we had 4 coffees and the bill was £28. 00 which we did not think it warranted that

We called into the Norton for a drink before dining elsewhere. It seemed to be a busy wedding venue. The drinks in the bar were very expensive. The staff very slow - but not at all busy. As we didnt eat there I cannot comment on the food. The room
looked well laid out and inviting.

We enjoyed a couple of evening meals here over the Christmas holiday. They offer a nice meal selection for different diet requirements. Breakfast was very good - haggis, eggs, fruits, sausage, yogurt, breads, cheeses and more - it was very extensive!

Great dinner, wonderful steaks, delicious desert. Very well served. The staff is friendly and helpful. Nice location and the room itself was well decorated.
