This is a truly excellent place to stay in the Scottish Borders whether for walking, cycling or local sight seeing. Beth and David are perfect hosts. The coach house is warm and cosy with its central heating and log fire.
Would highly recommend this to anyone/

“Wish we could buy this place”
Reviewed 8 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Wow!! Amazing place to stay. So beautiful and peaceful. Lovely, clean, cosy, comfy, quiet and private place to relax. My wife and I spent three nights here as an anniversary treat to ourselves and we didn't want to leave. The owners, Beth and David were lovely and welcoming. We got lucky with the weather too, three nights out under the stars and a full moon with not a drop of rain. Plenty wine though!! Go if you get the chance.

“perfect retreat”
Reviewed 29 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

What a beautiful retreat. Beth and david were most welcoming. We wish we could have stayed longer. We needed a peaceful break and this was perfect. Beautiful home and grounds. All we could hear was the burn water in the background and the birdsong. We will definately be back here. Would recommend this to anyone.

Wonderful location, the coach house is approximately 6 miles from Hawick. The house itself is amazing, just right for myself, hubby and two small children. Warm welcome, kids loved the space to play and the animals and birds that visited ( deer, hare, pheasant, owls, heron).
Definitely another visit planned.
(Plenty of things to do, would recommend Bowhills House, near Selkirk... Lovely gardens, cafe, small soft play, adventure playground)

“Extraordinary!”

Secluded on the remains of a large estate, the accommodations are above the stable and surrounded by a rapidly running burn and wonderful grounds. The kitchen is well appointed and the wood stove a give addition for both warmth and cozy feel. The owners are very pleasant and work hard to make you comfortable.
