“Fabulous Views”
Reviewed 22 November 2015 for a stay in November 2015

We stayed for one week in November. Cosy, and clean cottage, with a homely feel. Lovely Island with great walks. Be aware that the Island has very little in the way of amenities, which if you are prepared isn't a problem. Would return and recommend Tramway cottage.

Management Response
28 Nov 2015
Many thanks for your review. I do appreciate that in November, the local amenities tend to shut down from the end of October as this tends to be the end of the holiday season on the West Coast of Scotland. The local boat trips, (due to weather conditions also close down for the season). Most things open up from Easter onwards for any future booking. Many thanks once again for staying at Tramway Cottages. Kind Regards Annabel

“Fantastic cottage and location”
Reviewed 12 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We had a wonderful time here. The cottage is well equipped, location is idyllic. Double bed super comfy. Would stay here again. Great trips out and this part of Scotland is stunning.

“Fantastic cottage, very friendly owner.”
Reviewed 1 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We stayed in the cottage for a week. We have never stayed in the cottage before but did know the village very well. It is a lovely area with lots to do and stunning scenery.

The cottage was very clean and tidy, immaculate in fact.
Excellent tourist information in the cottage, Annie - owner - also is a very good source of local information. She pops in just to check that all is well when you first arrive.

The cottage was very cosy and warm with comfy sofas and storage heaters, which we needed as it was a little cool in the evenings!
The bed was very comfortable and the towels provided were large - bath sheet size - bliss - a decent size towel.

We appreciated the free Wifi as the phone signal is non existent in the area.
There was a welcoming bottle of wine and milk in the fridge and fresh flowers on the table.
A thoroughly enjoyable stay and we would defintely return for another visit.

“Scotland, first experience”
Reviewed 18 July 2015 for a stay in March 2013

My friends, my nepfew and I decide that this year will visit Scotland. I had the job to find a location. And I found it: Tramway Cottages. Ellenabeich. The infomations and directions that we received from the owner were very useful. Everydoby was impress about the cottage. Cosy and confortable. I loved the open fire place. And the village is beautiful. Even was March the weather was beautiful, a little windy but we had only sunny days all our vacation. We enjoy walking around, meet with some lovely rabbits, maybe not the same which were crosing our courtyard every morning. We also visit Isle of Seil, Oban. And of course we saw the Atlantic Ocean. I recommend Tramway cottges to anyone wants to visit Scotland. The owners are lovely persons, I had good communication with them.

“A peaceful week away.”
Reviewed 23 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at no 1 Tramway Cottages, a well run, spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished cottage located in the stunning village of Ellenabeich.
If your looking for a peaceful week away, in beautiful surroundings with plenty walks and points of interest nearby I couldn't recommend Ellenabeich and Tramway Cottages highly enough.
