We booked the apartment at the Granary as we were visiting family up in Banff and their house was full. How glad were we that we ended up getting to stay in the apartment it was amazing.
Everything you could need was available in the apartment including a fully equipped kitchen which had a Tassimo machine so bring your own pods if you like a nice coffee in the morning.
The living room has a dining table set up which is perfect to sit at and look out over the amazing view of Banff bay. We were very lucky with the weather and managed to go down to the beach which was a few minutes walk away.
The apartment has a decent tv with a blu ray player and pretty decent broadband which you can access. We took our Amazon Firestick for evening entertainment once it was too dark to look out at the view.
We have stayed in a lot of different places but hands down this is one of the best and we will definitely book again.
Banff and the north east coast are one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland with loads to do and see. It has also come on a lot in the last few years offering some great restaurants and cafes offering fresh homemade cakes, ice cream and lunches.
Top tips visit Annies Cakery which you can see in the telescope from the living room window over in Macduff, Portsoy ice cream has the best ice cream and desserts and great gifts to take home and the Kelpie cafe at the Banff castle which is only a 5/10 minute walk away from the flat.
If there is a better apartment than this in Scotland you will search long and hard to find it. The accommodation was excellent, clean, bright, comfortable, near to the beach and amenities, and in a fascinating area to visit, with great coastal walks and scenery, and fascinating history. Good parking, a short walk to two supermarkets and the town centre, and the harbour and beach. Views across the bay towards Macduff. Difficult to fault.
