Had no idea of the magnificent history of this charming house. Could spend hours wandering the house and reading the historical bits on the walls. Great food. Extremely comfortable lodging. Beautiful grounds. You feel like you are out in the countryside and yet only a few minutes from town. Would highly recommend.

Great place to visit. me and myy partner visited for a meal and the location of the hotel is lovely. We ate in the restaurant which was very nice and had a lovely seat by the window so the view was great also

The Beech Hill Country House hotel is a winner all around. Exceptionally nice building, grounds and rooms. There is a very comfortable bar/lounge area, very decorative and relaxing. The dining experience and food are excellent, as is the staff. A five star all the way.

I got married here recently. A civil ceremony on the lake outside in the timber gazebo. It was truly beautiful. Patsy our host and her excellent staff turned our big day into perfection. It was a small event with 20 people . Food was world class. Service was world class and the atmosphere was warm, welcoming and fun. Price was also very reasonable.

Just leaving after a fabulous night in this gorgeous hotel. Received a very warm welcome from the receptionist who showed us to our room. The room was cosy and warm which is a must for me. Fab clean bathroom with a lovely bath. We only needed a snack so i ordered the selection of homemade breads on room service. The brown bread is to die for! The bed was without a doubt the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Breakfast this morning was the nicest I've ever had. The selection is amazing. Cereals, croissants, fruit, cheeses and delicious scones. There is definitely something there for everyone. There is also a fab selection of cooked breakfasts. I went for the omelette with smoked salmon and cheese. Fab the owner was at the reception this morning, she was so lovely. Keep up the good work, this place is delightful. I'll see you again soon.
