“Beautiful location on the shore of Belfast Lough and a stunningly beautiful decor throughout.”
Reviewed 5 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

We visited to view The Old Rectory. Wow... What a beautiful house. It is stunningly decorated and furnished and with all modern amenities in the bathrooms/shower rooms and kitchen. The photos on the website do not do it justice. I don't think photographs could capture the beauty of this house nor its location on the north shore of Belfast Lough. The owners were so friendly.
The house was spotlessly clean.
We had no hesitation in immediately booking The Old Rectory for 6 friends coming to visit in November.
I would highly recommend Abbey Self-Catering.

“Spacious, spotless, comfortable and convenient”

We recently had the good fortune to rent this home for a week for a family wedding. I highly recommend this property which is one of three of Abbey Self Catering. We actually had to switch houses midway through our stay and Rosemary could not have been more accommodating with the move. She and her husband were a pleasure to deal with.
The house itself was beautifully appointed and absolutely spotless. The rooms are all a good size and very well equipped.
Access to the motorway to Belfast and all parts of Northern Ireland was very convenient taking maybe 10 minutes by car into Belfast city center.
Having easy access to the walk along the lough was yet another bonus.
I really hope to be back in one of these rentals. I highly recommend any of the three.

“Perffect for family or friends get together”
Reviewed 1 December 2015 for a stay in November 2015

We booked The Old Rectory for a family occassion because it had 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and was convenient to where we needed to be. The amazing grounds, the view and the accomodation were pure bonus. Public transport is virtually at the door and shops within walking distance. Cant recommend this place highly enough and will definitely return one summer to make the most of the surroundings.

“Lovely ”
Reviewed 3 September 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We were here while waiting for a channel swim. What a wonderful accommodation, lovely location close enough to Belfast. But ideally situated on the coast. Easy access to the beach and a lovely area to swim and to watch the ferries coming into Belfast. All local amenities are within easy reach. So what of the accommodation itself? Brilliant, a high standard, comfortable, warm, lovely
En-suite facilities, absolutely loved my time here. The owners are very friendly, and will ensure your stay is perfect with lots of interesting tales to share. Well worth a visit.
