This hotel was very nice and comfortable. One drawback was that I found the combination bath tub shower was hard to get in and out off. I am mobility challenged and need to walk with a cane. I found the tub kind of tall so had difficulty stepping in and out to have a shower. There was no grab rail to assist me. My wife, who is not mobility challenged but is not very tall also had difficulty. Also the bathroom door is frosted transparent so you can see blurred images of what is happening in the bathroom that leaves a bit for the imagination but not total privacy. It is ok when it is just my wife and I in the room, but we had some relatives stop by the room who were also staying at the hotel for a family gathering so we would have preferred the privacy of a solid bathroom door. Otherwise we liked the hotel and will probably go back if we ever have to stay in Belfast.

Dear Waynegm54,

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback on your recent stay.

I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay overall and would be happy to return. Thank you for your feedback regarding the bathrooms. We do have bathrooms with grab rails fitted in the bathtubs as well as bathrooms with walk-in showers if that would be preferable. Please give us a call next time you would like to stay and let us know of your preferences and we will be sure to allocate you a room to make your stay perfect. We hope to see you again soon.

Kind regards,

Lindsay

Have been busy on the phone making new bookings for the upcoming party season. Was dealt with today by Thomasina who ensured my bookings went smoothly and was any of them for a special occasion so they could add extras. Found Thomasina to be very professional, polite and above all friendly and would highly recommend this hotel and all the staff who I have had the pleasure to deal with throughout the years including Alle, Linda, Andy, Anton and especially our wee friend Marty. Well done to all the staff, keep up the outstanding work. See you all very soon Geraldine & Pauline

This is a really great hotel. The rooms aren't huge but they are nicely decorated with good, thick curtains to block the light. Also quiet, clean and have the most comfortable, cozy beds you could want for, I need to know where they buy pillows and duvets! Breakfast was superb, very fresh with lots of choice.

The crowning glory of this hotel is definitely the staff. They are the loveliest bunch of people, friendly and helpful. It seems that going the extra mile is standard behaviour for the staff at the Europa, nothing too much trouble.

An oasis of calm in the city centre. Bedroom very comfortable. Really enjoyed the breakfast. reception staff very helpful and friendly. Was lucky enough to have a high floor so had good views. Liked the free rubber duck in the bathroom (tell me it was meant to be free?)

Our wonderful experience didn't start on the day of our sons' wedding but from the moment the Europa Hotel was chosen as the venue for the reception. The attention and the care taken by Raymond and his teams made everything so enjoyable and totally stress free. Nothing was too much bother and no matter what requests we had or what we needed done, it happened with no fuss or hesitation. The customer service cannot be questioned. The room where the reception was held was more than ideal - elegant, plenty of space, dancing floor area, bar area, toilet facilities, easy to access, stylish entrance .......the list is really endless and it was without fault for our occasion. Before the meal, we were in a perfectly located area, with plenty of space for photographs and mingling, good comfortable seating, a bar area and lovely views of the city. The hotel is located in the busy area of Belfast city centre and was busy with tourists, all who took an interest in the event and made everyone feel special. Every member of staff who looked after us was more than courteous and welcoming. People, location, room etc were all amazing and just when we thought it couldn't get better, our meal was served.... the food was exceptional and thoroughly deserving of all the positive and highly complimentary comments from every guest in our party. Every element of it was delicious and the meal was definitely a talking point of every conversation throughout the night! Based on our experience and stay, I would happily recommend this hotel for any special occasion or a short stay/city break etc.

Room Tip: Our room was on the 3rd floor and facing the main road and busy city area - there was no noise distu...
