Description: Fans of Chinese and Japanese cuisine need look no further than the accommodating and unpretentious Noble House on just steps from the mainline station on Wood Street. Undoubtedly one of Cardiff City Centre’s best loved restaurants, Noble House is known for its friendly and accommodating service as much as for its delicious food. With a selection of your favourite Chinese dishes plus some imaginative additions – plus the hugely popular Japanese section of the menu – Noble House could never be accused of being stingy with their choices, the Chefs will even offer off-menu options. With generous portions and food always well presented and cooked to perfection there’s no better choice in the area.

The food was OK, but the general presentation put you off ,the lazy susie had dried food stains left on it. When I opened the menu old crumbs fell out .My wife came back from the toilet and said it was disgusting. The matre dee had stains down the front of his sweater.

The decor in this place has seen better days.
The vacuum cleaner was left next to our table for the whole evening.
The food arrived in drips and drabs throughout the night.
By the time the wraps arrived for the duck, the duck had already gone cold.
Chicken and cashew nuts had fire hot chillies by mistake that were meant to be in the Kung Po Chicken. There were no chillies in the Kung Po Chicken, it was a sweet bland dish.
None of the food looked colourful or appetising.
The Merlot was exceptionally good.
I first ate in this restaurant when it opened years ago and the quality has diminished.
I would not rate this restaurant and certainly will not visit again.

My Wife and I were recommended the Noble House by our hotel. The food was excellent and the service second to none. They were extremely friendly, the food was very nice and plenty of it. My only criticism was the decor of the place needed updating and looked a bit tired. But overall a very nice experience

We went to Noble house on a Sunday night and only a few people were there. There were 3 of us but we were starving so we got the set menu for 4 and were not dissappointed! Everything was good-i will go back!
