Lovely place, home from home, had everything we needed plus more. The dog loved the stream running through the garden. Beautiful village, so peaceful and an ideal location for exploring the stunning Brecon Beacons, nothing was too far away. We had a fabulous stay even the weather was fantastic. We will be back.

“A lovely place”

My new wife and I loved this cottage. Beautiful village and great walks. The stream running through the garden was loved by our dog and the wood burner in the cottage kept us warm every night. Stay here and you won't be disappointed.

“Wonderful place to stay”
Reviewed 8 April 2014 for a stay in March 2014

We stayed a week at the cottage and had a wonderful time. We were made extremely welcome and the cottage had everything we needed, including wi-fi. It is situated in a small quiet hamlet. We used it to go motorcycling and walking in the area. There is also a nearby (community-owned) pub with great food, including plenty of vegetarian options. The Brecon scenery is stunning. Highly recommended,

“Beautiful cottage in a beautiful area”

We have just spent a wonderful long weekend at this property and would recommend it to anyone. It is spotlessly clean, well-appointed and just lovely. We used it as a base for some great walks but there is plenty to do in the local area aside from walking. The cottage is in a very small village with a great pub but not much else. There are many things to do within a 30 minute drive however.

The owners are wonderfully friendly and helpful people and we enjoyed chatting with them whenever we bumped into them. The cottage is attached to the owners' house so they are available if you need them.

My only suggestion to improve this great cottage is a heavier adjoining door between the properties as you can hear the owners in the living room if you don't have any music or television on. However, this would in no way stop us from wanting to stay again - in the car on the way home we were already planning when we could return.

Also, make sure you step outside at night and look at the stars - like nothing I've ever seen before!

Wonderful cottage, wonderful people; Janet and her family were so welcoming. The cottage has everything you need. Fireplace was set up ready to light, but the house also had central heating. Beautiful stream at the back door. A quiet and picturesque village, just the one pub that cooks lovely meals. we could see the stars at night. We loved our time here and hope to return one day.
