“Lovely cottage, secluded location!”
Reviewed 3 June 2017 for a stay in May 2017

We had a great stay in May half term with our 5 kids. The cottage is well equipped and nicely furnished. We were able to eat outside and enjoy the views!

It has great grounds to explore and is a little off the beaten track. We enjoyed a walk to the reservoir nearby (about 50 minutes to a the cafe). We did several trips to local beaches and attractions (blue lagoon, folly farm) all within 30 minutes drive.

The beds are comfy and the towels and bed linen were nice and clean. There are some nice touches like arrival wine and Welsh cakes and cleaning products/condiments in the cupboards. There are some board games and the odd DVD and wifi (but not for streaming).

It's hard to find things wrong with the place. The only slight downside for us (not being pet people) was the doggy smell on arrival and pet dander. Nothing opening the doors and a plug in didn't sort! I did need to take allergy tablets though and the rugs need a good vacuum.

Highly recommended

Thank you so much for your review, we are delighted you had a great stay.

We are really sorry about the doggy smell and appreciate your feedback, we will improve this going forwards, perhaps changing the rugs and deeper cleans.

Thanks again,

“Beautiful cottage in a wonderful location”
Reviewed 25 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

We have just had a fantastic stay here with our family. It is a beautiful charming cottage set in a lovely part of Pembrokeshire. The views outside the house are sublime. Indoors it is clean and stylish. It has everything you need and is set at a very high standard. We cooked every night and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was cosy and a great place to relax and unwind. The underfloor heating downstairs was luxurious and felt great after a long walk on the coast during the day. The bedrooms were lovely and the beds are very comfy!
We had such an enjoyable time here and we all wished we could have stayed longer! I would 100% recommend this cottage as a fantastic place to stay!

“Lovely cottage, delightful location”
Reviewed 21 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

A superbly appointed property in deepest Pembrokeshire. We have stayed in a number of holiday lets in the county and this was by far the best. The grandchildren, (5 and 2) loved it - called it the cottage in the wild, wild woods! Would love to return. Helpful, accommodating and unobtrusive owners. Very hard to fault!

“Ideal " Home from Home "in Peaceful Pembrokeshire”
Reviewed 6 June 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Well equipped property with amazing views across the valley in peaceful backwater of Pembrokeshire . Ideal for walking or just relaxing in the quiet countryside . The bluebells were at their best in the wild meadow area of the garden during our stay . Ideal getaway from the stress of life in the fast lane- ( wifi for those who think they can't bear to be off-line) .Switch off your electronics and listen to the babbling river at the bottom of the garden or the " twittering " of the birds ..Zero light pollution is great for star gazing , if you can stay awake long enough !
