We stayed at Nita's for 2 nights for an outdoor activity weekend. Nita was away so we had the whole place to ourselves and could come and go as we pleased which was nice.
The B&B is located in the heart of the village close to plenty of routes out into the stunning countryside and near several decent places to eat.
A local girl came in to cook our breakfast, and was very pleasant and friendly. She also came and went at random times to take Nita's dog out which was a bit disconcerting, when we were't expecting to see anyone.
The breakfasts were respectable, but the website advertises organic food but we were given basics range instead.
The bedrooms need a good, deep clean. I found dirty underwear under our bed when I was checking the room for my stuff on leaving - needless to say it wasn't mine.
Also, we had a nice fire the first night, but it wasn't cleaned and relaid for the second night, which was a bit disappointing.
I would only stay here again if Nita was back and assured me she had taken the place back in hand.More
