Just returned from a great stay at the lake view hotel and had a fantastic time, Room was clean and well presented if not a little odd in the lay out, Owners were very helpful and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and on the day we got soaked walking up snowdon the have a little utility room where they dried out our wet gear so thanks for that.

Over all a great place in a great place if you need a hotel in Llanberis I would recommend this hotel

We stayed 2 nights, management and staff very welcoming and full of local information. Dinners were excellent and served on time, with a smile. (A larger choice would have been good?)
Room was basic, clean and serviced. We had the little room with ensuite in the passage, which worked but would try for the other rooms next time!
And please fix the outside sign! It give an impression of love missing. Somewhere to smoke out of the rain would help some of us addicts!
Hope helpful, would stay again, was value for money!

Room Tip: Avoid the room with the ensuite in the passage

Dear Michael and Carrie Sims,

Thank you for your hospitality, good food, clean rooms, Welsh wine, cider & ale, great company at the bar (with local stories and language lessons) and the loveliest view of lakes and mountains. Could not have had a better time in Llanberis. Diolch! (Thank you!)

All the best,
Julia & Vito

P.S. Food portions are too large. Never had a chance to try a dessert

Room Tip: Room 5 has a bathtub :)

First of all, can I say, this is a very nice B&B. The owners are really nice people, the food is excellent, bar prices reasonable, considering where the hotel is situated.
The only thing stopping me from giving it 5 star, is the decor needs updating, it is very 70s/80s.
The rooms are basic, they do have tea making facilities, but you can't fill your kettle in the room! The other slight downside, was the fact that they do charge for a cooked breakfast, which is in the "important information" section, on the booking form(Booking.Com) which I did not read, but when we asked for beans with our breakfast, we were told that they we not included. Yet there were a party of vegetarians, they could have beans! Now,if you are paying extra for a cooked breakfast, then I would expect to get stuff we want(within reason).
Overall, a great weekend, in a very nice B&B!

View over lake and lovely hillside on other side

Room was basic with adequate space for 2 single beds and just one chair. Good point was reading lights over bed.

Mattresses were well worn and lights from cars came through curtains. However we sleep well.

Small corridor joins bedroom to outside door. This corridor is the ensuite which is very basic. It has a clean shower cubicle which is just 12 inches from the toilet. The basin has not shelving with a mirror on the windows sill behind. There is a 2 foot gap from mirror to me shaving.

Continental b/f with room rate but full welsh B/F an extra a £3.95 per head.

Our room (no.1) was up very steep stairs and coming down have to mind head which I hit several times. Owner offered to carry bag up and down.
flat screen tv which was very small.

Expensive for what we had but clean and we slept okay
