“Lovely cottage, wonderful views.”
Reviewed 26 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Spent a long weekend at Snowdon Cottage as a birthday treat for my husband. Bottle of bubbly and a card waiting for us from the owners - a lovely touch. Beautiful cottage with all amenities and great location. Ample parking and private hot tub, which all the family enjoyed. Will definitely return one day and would love to stay at Snowdon Cottage again.

“Well equipped cottage in centre of the village”
Reviewed 27 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

I stayed here for five days with my husband and son. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen (except for scissors) plenty of pots and pans etc! Comfortable beds and bathroom with shower over it. The only other negative I would say is that it could do with a tumble dryer for the winter months? The cottage is very nice and has three bedrooms but I personally wouldn't like to share with 6 adults as there is only one bathroom and toilet. Obviously this is quite clear in the description so it would be a personal choice. Outside there is a lovely hot tub but the only thing I didn't like was having to use the front door to get to it. There are terraced houses opposite (I'm sure no one was interested in looking at us) and in fact you are surrounded by houses (that's the way it is in llanberis) so it wasn't as private as I had imagined. As people have mentioned in other reviews it is a very narrow road leading to the cottage...but we never had a problem. We chose llanberis so that we could go walking nearby. The first trip was up Snowden where my husband said the views were fantastic, they chose the best day to climb it! We also visited the zip caverns in Blaenau Ffestiniog, another great day out. They did the caverns whilst I went on a 4x4 army truck explorer trip around the slate quarries...fantastic views! Also visited two national trust properties nearby, penryhn castle and Plas Newydd ...both excellent. One thing I must mention is the fact that I had toothache whilst there and the owner Anne rang a dentist for me, fixed an appointment for that morning and I was able to have my tooth extracted , saving me a week of pain! Very grateful for Anne's help!

“Home from home, peaceful location ”
Reviewed 26 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Beautiful comfy cottage with stunning views of Padarn country park and mountains. A proper home from home, beds made up on arrival and towels provided too. Hot tub was a fabulous bonus that was enjoyed by us all! The boys especially loved the hot tub and free wifi. Such a fab base to explore North Wales. As others have said the roads are a little narrow up to the cottage but can easily negotiate all the parked cars outside the opposite houses. Great off road parking which with our larger car made a difference. Beds were comfy and all had great nights sleep. Only thing missing were a pair of kitchen scissors other than that everything else was provided. Would definitely like to return again one day Thank you Jim and Ann nothing was no problem such lovely people even got to meet their daughters.
