“Wonderful setting”
Reviewed 13 May 2013 for a stay in May 2013

We all loved the cottage and the location. Quite secluded but within easy reach of local spots (need a car) So relaxing in this lovely charactor cottage with views of snowden. Great for walks , dogs and barbecues. internet access and tv too. Easy reach of Llanberis, Snowden and Caernafon, Bangor. Conwy , Anglesey and Portmeirion near by for day trips too.
Had a brilliant time . would book again

“Character cottage, interesting location, great holiday”
Reviewed 13 October 2012 for a stay in July 2010

We stayed at Blue Peris for our family holiday July/Aug 2010.
The cottage and garden were lovely. Good quality kitchen and furnishings - everything we needed. All main rooms are on the ground floor but the TV is in a second sitting area (with balcony and great views) reached by an open tread staircase. Basket of DVDs much appreciated by our sons.
Great location close to a disused slate quarry which provided an interesting walk. Location is also central for many places of interest. Lots of leaflets + brochures in the cottage to help plan trips out. We (+ 10 year old spaniel) even walked up Snowdon.
Great holiday. Would thoroughly recommend Blue Peris cottage.

“If you like secluded... this is the one for you”

We absolutely loved it.... There was two adults, our daughter who was 14 at the time and our Doberman Alfie. The pictures of the house DO NOT do it justice, it was homely, comfortable and after staying several times in Llanberis this was as near to the ideal property as possible, for a very very good price.

The only downside (which I can hardly blame the owners for) is the noise underground on that side of the mountain. There is a low grumble which we were told was something to do with the mining... However we stayed there year before last so this may well not be the case anymore!

For those who are capable walkers there is a short but steep path which brings you down by the slate museum in five minutes (ok for the dog...no steep drops) There was also a beautiful walk behind the cottage to the top and the most beautiful views imaginable.

If you want to stay in Llanberis, and for the price especially.... I would stick my neck out and say you would not find better.

Lovely cottage with stunning views .excellent location for walking. Cottage full of character and peaceful and tranquil. Second year of visiting with the family and dog. From the visiting goats to the nearby horses the garden offers stunning views, relaxing (BBQ and summer house) and peaceful. Kitchen well appointed and the walk down to llanberis is beautiful . Remote enough for tranquility close enough to get good supplies perfect!!

“Lovely cottage in a lovely Location”
Reviewed 15 September 2012 for a stay in August 2012

The cottage is very cosy and welcoming and in a lovely location with stunning views of the mountains.

The cottage is located near to Llanberris and is a short walk through a woody area if you prefer not to take the car.

If you wanted to climb varying peaks on Snowdon this cottage is an ideal location and would be a welcoming retreat at the end of the day where you could sit in front of the open fire.

There is plenty of things to explore within a short drive away if you are having a family holiday. The cottage itself gives plenty of space for you to unwind and has a balcony upstaird for you to enjoy the fantastic views and a lovelty garden and summer house to enjoy the garden area.

If you fancy climbing there are good climbs in and around the local area and there are walks on your doorstep including the dinorwig quarry.

A holiday in this cottage would be enjoyed at any time of the year as it is well equipped and this cottage is one that you would want to go back to.
