What a lovely cottage this is! Location on the river bank is just beautiful. Perfect garden for our dog, who just pottered around. We will be back!
What an amazing place to stay if you're planning on visiting North Wales. The cottage itself is very comfortable and well equipped with a lovely enclosed garden which is perfect if you have children or dogs. We loved sitting at the bottom of the garden watching the river flow past and the world go by.
The location for us was key, it's within walking distance of Zipworld and a 15 minute walk into Betws-y-Coed where we had amazing pizza's on a couple of nights. Llanberis and all the Snowdon paths are a short drive away.
We couldn't have asked for more of a holiday cottage and would highly recommend, we would definitely visit here again.
We have just returned home after a fabulous week at Glanrhyd Cottage following 10 days in Ireland with our dog Perci !
The cottage is one of the nicest we've stayed in in terms of cosyness, cleanliness and it's stunning location .
As soon as we walked in we felt comfortable which is important, the views are to die for and the garden is great for the dog as it's enclosed albeit with sheep all around so you do need to be mindful.
We enjoyed both evenings in using the wood burner and just sitting in the garden and also trying some of the fab restaurants as using the footpath into town it's only a 10 minute walk which is very pleasant .
Commincation with George on booking was excellent and we would most definitely return to Glanrhyd as there's so much in this beautiful area we didn't do .
But we did all manage to get up Snowdon
This lovely cottage was a welcome sight after a day travelling. Well furnished for holiday rental and situated on the bank of a river it is a idyllic hideaway.
As it is 200 years old it has its quirks - low doorways being one but is charming and well worth a stay.
We have just finished a glorious week at Glanrhyd Cottage in Betws y Coed.
It's location a short walk from the town is secluded and quiet with just the gurgle of the river at the bottom of the garden and the baa of the sheep in the field next door.
The cottage itself was the perfect size for us and our 2 dogs which were made welcome. A place to both relax in and use as a base for exploring the beautiful Snowdonia National Park.
We will definitely be back.
