We have just had 5 fantastic days at Rhos y Pant cottage, beautiful inside and out, the views are stunning and the garden is huge our 2 Labradors absolutely loved it (think they're depressed being back home). Karen the owner who met us there with some home made cake was lovely nothing was too much trouble for her.
We will definitely be back

“Lovely stay”

We spent four pleasant days at this lovely cottage at the beginning of July.

The cottage is very spacious. It easily accommodated five of us (all adults) and the family dog.

We drove from Manchester; it was very easy to follow the instructions provided by the kind lady who owns the place.

The location is wonderful with a fantastic view on the bay. The cottage is surrounded by the countryside and it is ideal for long, peaceful walks. There is also a very big, fenced garden, secure for dogs and children, if you have any with you. Because of its location, I would recommend to take plenty of food with you, so that you have to take the car only if you want to visit other areas in Anglesey.

The kitchen is very well equipped and you have all the necessary utensils to cook nice meals... while you sip some Italian wine, enjoying a spectacular sunset.

The beds are very comfortable and there are four bathrooms; this is ideal if many of you are staying.

The only downside is that internet is very slow. Therefore, it can be a bit frustrating if you need to do some work or you have business to take care of while you are there.

We had a wonderful time and we would definitely go back.

“Large Cottage with plenty of room in amazing surroundings”

We arrived home from our stay in Rhos Y Pant today. The cottage was a little difficult to find on the first day but the people living in the nearby cottages were more than happy to help when we asked for help.

The cottage has breathtaking views of the sea and the garden is very large. We took 3 children and 2 dogs with us and they all had plenty of room to run around.

We did have to tie the dogs up a lot though because they could fit through the bars on the metal gate leading from the drive to the garden. This would not be a problem for a large breed dog but our two cavaliers could slip through easily.

The cottage has plenty of room (it was MUCH more spacious than the pictures show) and even with 5 adults, 3 kids and 2 dogs we did not feel crammed in.

The beds are comfortable and there are PLENTY of pillows to go around.

There is a smell in the kitchen off of the bedroom but it was oil as the owner wrote for the previous comment - nothing to be alarmed about at all. We just opened the window for a short while and the smell went away.

The cottage sits all by itself at the top of the hill over looking the bay which means that it is VERY peaceful and relaxing.

I would recommend this to large families looking for a relaxing stay with beautiful views.

There is a field full of sheep right next door to the property which really does give it a nice country feel.

The cottage was very well equipped with a dishwasher, washer/drier enough cups to quench a small army and even things like hand blender, egg cups and vegetable peeler.

We've been to other cottages in the past that weren't as well equipped and the extra bits really makes a difference.

The cottage has 2 log burning fires and gas central heating, the beds are comfortable and the showers are hot and powerful.

The bubble jets in the bath were a nice touch too.

The whole family enjoyed our stay here and we are already discussing the prospect of going back again next year.

Liked best: There are a LOT of great points.
Liked least: The internet is sufficient for Facebook etc but I need a fast connection for work and the internet was far too slow for that.

Thanks for your feedback and please you enjoyed your stay, we've amended the directions so it should be easier to find and we'll make sure we sort something with the gate - I wish you'd mentioned it whilst you were there as we could probably have put some mesh on it to save you having to restrain the lovely dogs. Anyway we'll make sure it's sorted and welcome the feedback to improve. Thanks very much indeed for staying with us.

“Perfect for Families”
Reviewed 16 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We stayed here with our extended family. The views were wonderful, the cottage comfortable. We especially enjoyed the garden, which had lots of running around space for our grandson.
It was well situated for exploring Anglesey.
There were 5 of us so we did not need to use the bedroom off the kitchen, the boiler for the central heating of there , as a result it did smell of calor gas.
The rest of the cottage was wonderful and I would recommend it, but would not want to use that bedroom.

Thank you for your review and glad you enjoyed your stay - reference your comments about the first double bedroom, we are putting an en-suite on that bedroom and the boiler will be removed shortly, however, we've had other guests stay and no complaints. The heating is oil not calor gas, and we'd had the boiler serviced just before your stay, unfortunately the plumber split some oil inside the boiler room so there was a trace of odour remaining.
