I rarely stay away from home as I easily get home sick, however I managed to stay here for 2 weeks managing to only cry about once a day. The view was beautiful and the nearby ice cream shop was amazing. It really was just a perfect place to stay and made my visit to Conwy the best holiday i’ve ever had.
I thought I had reviews this last year but just got a reminder from trip advisor so I am sorry it is late. This is a fantastic rental right on the harbour. It is suitable for a group as there are 4 bedrooms. I live in Sri Lanka and stay in Conwy often on my visits to Uk and loved this property. I invited different people to sat with me at different times and at one stage all bedrooms in use. There are 2 bathrooms and bedroom all have views of the harbour and are roomy so it is not squashed. The lounge dining room is big. Everything worked, heating was great and gas lof effect fir. Kitchen had everything you needed and there is a small courtyard garde. Perfect.
We have just spent a really wonderful week at Royal Oak Cottage in Conwy. It is right on the harbour with fabulous views from all of the rooms. Such a comfortable place to spend a weeks holiday with everything you could possibly need, extremely well equipped and the sea on your doorstep. What more could you ask for even the weather was kind to us. The dogs loved the beach, swimming in the sea and we found lots of local places that were dog friendly.
Conwy has a number of restaurants within five minutes walk if you don't feel like cooking every night. Crab available on the quay just after the boats had come in that's what you call really fresh!!
Our thanks to Chad & Becky for sharing their home and to Dawn for making sure it was spotless. I can't recommend it highly enough it's really fabulous, it has by far the best position in Conwy
What more can we say we have rebooked already.
House was really nice. 7 of us stayed and never felt cramped or in each other's way. We had murder mystery night. With the game in the cottage. Was great laugh. Would highly recommend it. The smallest house two doors down is a gold mine. Queues all day long. The view in the morning looking out of the bedroom was great. Looking over the river. Mug of tea in the morning sitting on the wall outside the cottage. Talked to neighbours who told you some gossip. Only downside was the parking. Once you got it you tried to not move it. Town has nice places to eat and drink. Tried nearly all the pubs in the town. My wife has new favourite drink. Rhubarb gin with ginger ale. All the family agreed a great place to stay. Even the 14 year old.
This house is ideally situated for a great family holiday in North Wales. It is right on the Conway quayside with breathtaking views from every window. It is spotlessly clean and very well equipped - even a water bowl for the dog and a jar of dog biscuits too! We had a great holiday and would love to return for another holiday.
