Owner description: Built in the late 13th century and reputed to be haunted by a past resident, this picturesque castle was built for King Edward I and is a perfect example of the "concentric castle" design.

We enjoyed our time visiting the castle, unfortunately it was raining, which put a slight dampener on the day, but the castle was good fun, especially walking the walls and towers of the castle, great views too!..

We visited the castle for the Dragon Easter Egg hunt on Easter Sunday and it was well worth a visit. The entrance price for 2 adults and 1 child of £25 was reasonable and the star of the show - a virtual dragon hunt - worked really well. To top it off a random group of Medieval Re-enactment people decided to turn up and were around for pictures. Would recommend.
Only negative was parking in Conwy. Don't get me started on that.

Lovely castle a preserved part of history. It didn't take us long to look round we were only there an hour but even still it was interesting. There could have been more information boards to improve the visit
