Description: The Aberconwy Resort and Spa on the north coast of Wales is a seaside retreat which boasts its very own gourmet restaurant. Signatures is a swanky affair – and its slate walls, vanilla leather chairs and chi-chi chandeliers are the perfect backdrop for relaxed nights out with friends and family. The restaurant has a theatre-style kitchen run by Executive Chef Jimmy Williams, and the modern British menu at Signatures includes a variety of Welsh classics including the duo of lamb with creamed leeks, pancetta and potato gratin, and the Welsh cheese platter. Locals also love the chorizo and spring onion risotto with chive oil, and the restaurant's excellent selection of fine wines.

We have heard so much about this place but never seemed to get around to visiting it. We finally went last Friday and were extremely impressed. The menu is set price for 2 courses and 3 courses with a few items additional extras to this (fillet steak for instance). There is a good choice to suit most tastes. We both had the langoustines for starters which were delicious. I had the lamb and hubby had the fillet steak. Both were cooked to perfection and absolutely gorgeous. Hubby had the cheese cake for desert which was a large chunk of, obviously, homemade creamy cheesecake. We will most definitely be coming back. The staff were attentive without being over the top and it's nice to be able to see the food being prepared in the open kitchen.

We ate here as a treat for my birthday and a nice end to our weekend in Wales. We weren't disappointed.
The restaurant itself is elegant yet relaxed. The menu had a good selection and the food was delicious, well presented and very good value in our opinion.
The waiting staff were a little slow at times, but we attributed this to it being a full restaurant on New Years Day.
We especially enjoyed watching the chef prepare the desserts, and when they arrived in front of us they were like works of art! Well played that man!

Would recommend

We booked a table of 6 for our Christmas Party Lunch in December. It's been a while since i dined here but it was even better than i remember. The restaurant was very busy and everything was cooked to order which is a feat in itself. We all ordered different things off the menu and they were all faultless and extremely tasty.
The quality of the food is outstanding and i cannot recommend it enough. I am going again next week for my birthday and i can't wait.

The last time i went to signatures was in september with my husband & sister-in-law, who was staying with us for a few days from London. I must say she was most impressed with signatures itself, the food, & the service, which was excellent. The thing that like about it the most, is the fact that you can see right into the kitchen when they are cooking, which is very good. Although i have only been there 3 times myself, it is definitely be going again...........
