We stayed at this residence for one night when visiting Caernarfon, and rented the apartment as we needed room for five people. Location-wise, this is great, as it is inside the city walls, and is close to the castle, pubs, and shore.

Remember, that this is a guest house and it is like staying in someone's home. The Manager was a cheerful, outgoing guy, the amenities were fine, and the place, although old and a bit tired, was clean and well-kept. The beds leave something to be desired, but again, this is a guest house.

Quirky little B & B centrally located in Caernarfon - good place to stay to explore surrounding areas, and great to walk into the town in the evening. Phil, the owner, is somewhat of a character....not quite sure how to take him...works extremely hard to satisfy his custoemrs but his attitude and some of what he says can be a little rude. Definately would reccomend though for location, and the full cooked breakfast

Had a great night in Tegfan B&B, Phil was so friendly and accomodating, room was fine, DVD player with a choice of DVD's - Black Boy was recommended but had a large party booked in so went to Olive & Ouzo for a great greek experience, food was delightful. Fantastic breakfast on Sunday - £52 well worth it.

What an odd little place!

If you're just looking for somewhere to rest your head then go for it. If you're looking for a family B&B then I'd steer clear. Phil (the owner) is very strange, to the point of being rude. In our short one night stay he had two massive swearing rants for all to hear and for no apparent reason (other than someone leaving the light on) - definitely not somewhere to take kids. The window in the room we were in rattled in the wind, not great when you're by the coast, and 1 of the towels we were given was dirty so I'm not sure if they always get changed...I'd recommend taking your own just incase!!

On the plus side - the bed was comfy and the breakfast was lovely. Just make sure you agree the rate with him before hand and stick to your guns when he tries to charge you extra!!!!

Oh - and if you're going out for a meal head to the Black Boy...fantastic food and very very reasonable.
