Excellent location near Snowdon, This was my second visit with my family staying in chalet, near shops and many ,beaches and places to visit. The chalet provided everything I needed very clean and tidy and in a great spot on the park. owner very quick to respond to any information you require. we will certainly be returning thanks for everything. the staff at the park were really helpful and friendly to.

“Great place, very close to snowdon”
Reviewed 19 May 2017 for a stay in April 2017

We enjoyed our stay very much, we stayed over the May bank holiday with 2 adults & 2 kids (age 4 & 6), plenty of room for all of us. The owner was very quick getting back to me about all my enquiries and gave me a very easy to follow direction how to get to the holiday home. The cottage itself is very tidy and clean, fully equipt, clean towels and warm shower, the electric meter for the long weekend didn't cost much at all, which you can buy pre credited meter cards at the local shop. The holiday park itself is situated very close to snowdon, which I climbed to the summit with my kids. Would definitely visit again and recommend this stay to friends!

“Well equipped, cute and comfy cottage in a lovely park”

Nice little cottage in a gorgeous holiday park. We stayed from the 29th of September and left on the 1st of October and were lucky to have lovely weather on our trip!
The bungalow is located in a nice and quiet area, near the stream, which is a lovely stream to watch. We got into the bungalow, and truth be told, it does smell a little damp when you get through the first set of doors, but once in the cottage itself you don't have that smell anymore.
The cottage has two couches and an open kitchen, a fold-out table with chairs (which we did not use), a coffee table, two bedrooms of which one has a 'full bed' and the other two singles. The bed in the major bedroom is on the small-side for two grown-ups (it's a full bed and not a queen size or bigger) and we contemplated sleeping on the singles due to this at first, but decided against it. It did mean that we had to roll over with care, but, we slept comfortably nonetheless.
The cottage is definitely well-equipped and has everything you could wish for. From cutlery to pots and pans, kettle, tea bags, fridge, hand-wash, washing up liquid to toilet paper, towels, bedlinnen etc. The cottage looks out over the road and trees, you can see some other bungalows and the view is very pleasant. The cottage is comfortable, and has electric heaters you can use to stay warm. Must say we used two heaters at one point in the living room as it was getting a little nippy but the heaters do the job.
Cottage comes with a small television with all the channels you can wish for, beware that the cottage nor area near the cottage has wifi, but let that be a welcome change from the social media craze that seems to be the norm. Sometimes it's good to focus on each other instead of on our phones! :D
Shower is lovely, gets nice and warm. The bathroom looks very clean and was well decorated, but does have a wee bit of mold near the ceiling, which is down to lack of ventilation I am assuming due to people not opening the window when they have a shower, but it is not in your face and did not bother us too much, it can just do with a bit of touching up.
The park itself has a bistro and a shop, albeit the bistro being closed due to medical circumstances of the staff so we didn't use that on our stay, and thus can't comment on the quality. Park also has a swimming pool, but because we were out of season that was closed. Looks nice though!
The park looks well-kept and has some very lovely walks down the streams and other cottages, and across a bridge into the forest. We were planning on a walk in the morning, but unfortunately it was raining quite badly on our departure so we had to skip but we did have a short walk in the evening and it was a pleasant trip through the forest and alongside the stream.

All in all, I would definitely recommend this cottage to others and would definitely stay here again :D I can't give it 5 stars, as to me 5 stars is superduper awesome and deluxe; this accommodation is awesome, but not mega-deluxe and so it is getting a very good 4 stars :) For a very nice price you get a lovely little cottage, with everything in it you can wish for.
I say, go for it.

Hi Petra, Thank you for your detailed review. We have since cleaned and touched up the ceiling in the bathroom, although we will be giving it a thorough, deep clean during the closed season. As you stated, this is due to the lack of ventilation in the bathroom, so the steam from people's showers gather. We have bought a little dehumidifier with the hope that will help keep this down.
The bed in the master room is indeed a Double, but as you say if people are used to larger it may feel a little restrictive.
In relation to the damp smell in the porch, we believe this is due to the floor in the porch being the base of the chalet, so in the closed season we will be tiling it to hopfully seal the floor better and keep the smell out.
Thank you again for your comments.
