“A lovely house - ideal for a family with children”
Reviewed 28 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

As we drove towards the farm following the instructions we wondered where we would finish up. It was late afternoon and the lanes were getting narrower and narrower. The actual directions were accurate but we kept thinking we could have gone pass the turnoff. The sign for the first turn off has been recently hit by a high vehicle and it was easy to drive on, fortunately we saw it at the last moment. The farm turn off quickly goes into a narrow lane rather overgrown but you quickly can see the house and the pretty setting. The adjoining fields were used for cattle and sheep. The garden to one side of the property has been well designed for young families.

The key safe was easy to locate and we let ourselves in. The house has a welcoming atmosphere and the ground floor was superb. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. Nicely decorated throughout, but the walls are extremely thin and every noise can be heard.

An easy improvement would be a separate toilet to be added perhaps in the building next to the kitchen.

The morning after we arrived when we left we turned left and found that was a better lane. Slightly longer in mileage to Aberystwyth but less of a worry with the lanes.

Nearby are so many lovely places to visit. We were lucky in going to New Quay on the first full day which turned out to be the best for weather. From there we took a Dolphin Watching boat trip for 2 hours. We saw many birds, some seals and also some dolphins. Most enjoyable visit. My grandson recommended which Ice Cream bar we should visit. This caused a lot of decisions as the choice was so great.

A welcome extra on arrival at the farm was the provision of Welsh Cream Scones, and also Milk in the Fridge. I would certainly consider this property in the future.

It was the first time we had been away for the weekend.
It was great because we took the dogs with us.absolutely loved the hot tub.
We didn't really go very far, just walked the dogs around the farm land.it was so quiet and the view from the back door was beautiful. It felt like you were miles away from everyone and everything, you had to drive to get to the nearest shoo but it wasn't far. The cottage its self was emaculate and done to a high standard . The bedding was so fresh and clean.Therewas Everything you could need, if I went again id remember to take dishwasher tabs to make use of the dishwasher as not having to do the dishes would of been the icing on the cake.i would definitely recommend going.we came back so chilled out loved it

“Beautiful cottage”
Reviewed 29 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Lovely cottage in the midst of the Welsh countryside. Very clean and well equipped with a nice wood burner and a cosy feel. Garden had a Wendy house etc for young children though our teenage boys were a little old for that !
