I went here with my husband whilst staying in Aberystwyth for the night. We were both more than happy with the food we ordered. We had the Vegetable Risotto and the Seafood Pasta dish which were both delicious and very generous portions. The prices were also good for what you got and the music playlist was also to our liking. The football was on TV, Wales were playing and it was entertaining watching the fans cheer in the pub when luckily, Wales won. We had a lovely evening and would definitely go there again if we made another visit to Aberystwyth.

We visited Little Italy after trying to book a table in many other restaurants in Aberystwyth during our weekend stay. Nowhere else could fit us in on short notice but the menu looked okay so we were happy to visit.

When we arrived at the bar there were no staff around, so we took ourselves to the restaurant upstairs and waited to be seated. A member of staff walked past us many times without acknowledging us, and took around 10 minutes of us standing trying to get someone's attention before we were seated.

We were seated at 6.35, around 15 minutes later a staff member asked to take our order but we hadn't had any menus to look at. The staff member took a further 20 minutes to bring us some menus and take our order, bringing it to 7.10.

Our food arrived at 8.15 after numerous apologies and also being told they had ran out of penne pasta that I had ordered. The chef had also burned himself which held things up.

The service was the only thing that let the place down. The food itself (when we finally got it) was delicious. It is simple pasta and pizza dishes but they were very tasty and really large portions which makes it excellent value for money. The setting is also intimate and rustic.

In defence of the staff, the man who served us seemed to be the only person who was serving in the restaurant and the pub downstairs, which I appreciate is a lot for one person to handle. The staff member was friendly and did apologise many times for the service, however our visit was not the best and I would not recommend or return if we are in the area again.

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone of any age. The food is fantastic with massive portions and the consistency of the food is amazing.
I went in a large group with some of my old friends from university. We went during the week on a Wednesday and unbeknown to us there was a deal on which was 25% of pasta and pizza dishes. I had eaten there previous to this on a weekend and there was no different in the sizes or the quality of the food. We all had pasta dishes of different variety and everyone was huge portions which was fantastic, one party member had a pizza which they were unable to finish and were offered to take it home without us even having to ask!

Fantastic staff, warm presence which is always welcome and good value for money!!
