“a slice of paradise”
Reviewed 18 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We have just had a completely enjoyable and restful stay at Faraway Barn. A superb accommodation in a very beautiful and tranquil setting, amazing views all around, a delight even on the odd wet day.
Russell and Louise are extremely friendly and accommodating, we could not have wished for better hosts. Thoughtful touches, like cake on arrival and fresh flowers from the beautiful garden.
The farm also has many animals to enjoy - giving it altogether a unique atmosphere.
Round about are many places of interest, the drives there offering the most magnificent views.
Highly recommended!

“Such a lovely place to stay”
Reviewed 14 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

This is a real gem, if you love animals this is the place to be. The two hens who roam free love to be talked to and fed. I fed the horses who are partial to polo mints and carrots. The owners have rescued border collies, they are great dogs with lovely natures. It is in a very good area for visiting lots of counties, we went Shropshire, Herefordshire, Staffordshire, the welsh borders. Worcestershire itself is beautiful. The views from the barn are fantastic. Louise is very friendly, and made us feel welcome. Fresh flowers from the garden that smelt lovely, and homemade cake that was very tasty.

“A great Easter weekend”
Reviewed 19 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We recently spent our Easter Weekend at Faraway Barn & thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The barn was spotless and very comfy, with cakes and flowers on our arrival. With lovely weather we enjoyed sitting out on the patio looking at the beautiful views of the countryside and feeding the horses an apple or two. We also enjoyed a local walk over the surrounding fields.
Clifton Upon Teme is a very pretty village with a local shop and two pubs. We had a great meal at The New Inn and would definitely visit again. Louise was very helpful and welcoming. We will certainly be coming to stay again soon!

“Amazing!”
Reviewed 18 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

My husband and I recently spent a wonderful weekend here, and we will most certainly be going back in 2015. The cottage was spotlessly clean & lovely and warm despite the dreary November weather. Louise and Russell are natural hosts and genuinely seemed to enjoy having us, they love their home and seem to delight in sharing it with their guests. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The cottage was so cosy and very, very peaceful, I cannot remember the last time I slept so well! The view from the cottage is breathtaking and we took full advantage of the walks surrounding the farm. I particularly loved popping out in the morning and giving Louise's 3 horses a carrot or two. If you love the peace & quiet of unspoilt countryside then you will love Tippins Farm.
