“A beautiful cottage in a fabulous location”

We stayed at Orchard Cottage for 3 nights in November. We instantly loved the cottage, it was lovely and warm on arrival and spotlessly clean. The whole of the cottage is just lovely. The kitchen is very well stocked and all the crockery, appliances etc were of a high standard. The bathroom is modern but well suited to the style of the cottage. The bedrooms were so cosy and the beds comfy, with spotless bed linen. The weather was cold during our stay and we were unable to enjoy the beautiful garden area, however we enjoyed sitting close to the log fire. We would have loved to have spent more time in the cottage but found it was in a fantastic location and used this to our advantage walking into Broadway in minutes to visit the wonderful shops, bars and restaurants. We were lucky to meet the owner Keith during our stay and found him very helpful and knowledgable suggesting places for us to visit. We found Keith very efficient from booking our stay and being contactable at all times during our stay.A few of our favourites places to visit were Stow On the Wold and Chipping Campden. We could have stayed a week and still not have seen everywhere we hoped too. In Broadway itself our favourite bar/restaurant was the Broadway hotel. The ambience and food were excellent. Overall the most wonderful 3 night stay and it was made this way by the wonderful Orchard cottage. We will definitely return although will stay longer.

“Gorgeous cottage in the Cotswolds”
Reviewed 13 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We've just returned from a lovely 4 night break in The Cotswolds at Orchard Cottage. We booked it the night before with Keith who was excellent. We arrived and fell in love with the cottage, it was everything we had hoped for. Within moments of arriving my husband had hit his head on the low doorways but that was no surprise as he is 6ft 5. The Kitchen and the lounge are amazing and the garden is fantastic.

“Thatched, thoughtful and thorough!”
Reviewed 7 May 2015 for a stay in April 2015

An Aussie, I was delighted to stay in an old, thatched Cotswolds cottage where quintessential old England melds with modern convenience.
Communication with owner Keith was warm, succinct and easily managed and support person, Spencer was excellent
The cottage is within easy walking distance of Broadway main street where there are pubs, restaurants, tea rooms and quirky shops all host offer welcoming smiles to visitors......plus .......public transport to other villages is very easy
I very much enjoyed my Orchard Cottage experience and highly recommend it to you

“Lovely Property but not really for 4 Adults and A Baby”
Reviewed 28 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Stayed at the property with another couple and our 11 month old baby. The property itself is lovely and very well furnished and equipped. The garden is great too with 2 sets of furniture to make the most of the sun in the garden. Very generous welcome of a bottle of prosecco and a cider and sultana cake.
No parking at the property but provision of close by garage is fine.
Property however wasn't really suitable for our group. There is a small winding staircase which I was a bit uncomfortable carrying the baby up and down stairs. The main bedroom is a reasonable size and the travel cot fitted fine however it has a low beam and at 5'10 I struggled and caught my head a few times
The second bedroom is a small room and has the bed fitted to the wall around all three edges which means one person is cwtched in and has to climb over the other to get out. No storage in this room either other than a hanging rail. Would be fine if you were a family but for two separate couples not really the best.
Travel cot only has the base so we took our own so that we could use a mattress. Never understand why a lot of properties supply a travel cot without a mattress.....
For a couple or a small family the property would be fine but really not for our group.
