We has a boat trip on a lovely sunny day. Trip was very enjoyable and the documentary on it was excellent. It ex0lained all the parts of Windsor and Eton and nearby areas. Would recommend it for a family ride(about 40 minutes) where you get to know a bit more about Windsor and its history.

Staff in ticket office seemed blank when we asked about buying the combined boat and bus tickets ,which is actually in their advertising. Kids liked the double decker boat. The downstairs was nice but the upstairs looked shabby as all the rows of seating looked like old grey school chairs. Bit chilly upstairs as it's all open so disappointed that the boiler was broken and they could only offer cold drinks. Commentary was a recorded voice that spoke too fast. It did pass a pleasant 40 mins though.

Did the 2 hour boat trip from Windsor to Boveney Lock, very informative, friendly staff, fully licenced bar ( quite expensive), great views and overall a very pleasant experience.

From J Boy of Derby
There's nowhere like a boat trip on the Thames at Windsor when the sun is out . Travelled in a group from Runnymede to Windsor and back with a very generous cream tea on board.
Lovely scones with jam, butter and cream, and unlimited tea or coffee.
Very interesting commentary as you sail passed the Magna Carta site towards the castle, viewing the beautiful riverside homes, and passing under various bridges and a few locks.
Well worth the 2 hours spent on the water.

Really nice little cruise . Takes about an hour and a half. There were only 9 people on our just out of season trip. The boat was clean and there was a running commentary of the vies as we progressed through two locks . There was a bar that sold drinks cheaper than in the pub. Staff super friendly and knowledgable on the area history.
