We stayed here for one night as we were eating in the Thai orchid over the road.
It was no frills but it was clean and comfortable.
Staff we polite and efficient
Setting is Very pretty and ideal for a rivers walk

Booked by a business we were visiting, so it didn’t cost us but poor, in its day I’m sure it was excellent, great position. Decor tired in all but the lower floor bar/restaurant. Very small room with double bed, one side up against wall, so hard work for the person there. Dreadful shower that looked awful & looked as it was about to overflow. Cooked breakfast good but at catering Schooll one of the first lessons must be that boiling water should be used making tea, so why have a tank of ‘hot water’.

I have stayed at this hotel before for more than one night. On those occasions I had stayed in a single room that was not very nice. So this time I booked an executive room expecting something a bit better. The room was nothing like the photo on the booking site. It did have a partial river glimpse but mainly overlooked the car park. There was no robe as advertised there would be. The room did not seem very clean nor well maintained. The towels were like boards. The lighting was exceptionally poor and it was impossible to work in the room. The wi-fi connection was good, however. The trainee receptionist at both check in and check out was the worst I have ever come across and seriously needed some proper training. No conversation, not at all helpful, very slow and really downright rude. Breakfast was not brilliant but the staff there were polite and friendly as opposed to upstairs. I left feeling very disappointed and cheated and with a resolve never to stay again.

Gorgeous setting on the river and so much potential. The rooms, however, could use some work. The staff were helpful and kind, and the food and service (loved dining along the river!) were congenial, so overall a pleasant stay.

I have stayed in this hot won and of for the last ten years it used to be great sadly no more. Service was poor the receptionist didn't have a clue what she was doing and the evening meal was at best mediocre.
