My best friend and I have been going to the festival here for many years and are never disappointed. This is such a lovely place to visit especially for a wedding, the staff are lovely and friendly and the grounds look wonderful in wedding photographs.

Wow!

Very disappointing. Only a pair of rooms with some 'craft's stalls and sellers.

For a Christmas Fair, I was expecting such a lot more. Not just in that room, but maybe marquees, bunting, Santa, Christmas?

What a waste of half an hour of my life walking round your room of exhibits. Maybe next year you could get organisers in and we can make a day of it?

What a lovely place this is! We came for a family wedding here recently and had an amazing time! The old buildings are stunning and the grounds are really well kept with beautiful lawns and trees! What's lovely about this venue is that there are lots of different walks and areas to explore our daughter loved running along the paths finding the fairy doors in the trees and enjoyed seeing all the peacocks and parrots in the trees! We came for a wedding and found the food to be of a very high standard and the service from the staff was excellent! There is a large car park out the front to leave the car! We stayed at the Museum Inn over night which is about a 5 min cab ride away and this was also excellent! This place is defiantly worth a visit if you are in the area!

Beautiful settings and gardens, delightful for a picnic. Lots of hidden smaller areas to sit quietly with a book and chat with friends. A great wedding venue, with amazing old buildings dotted around the grounds. But don't have the afternoon tea, which is actually just a very dry burnt scone with few sultans, little jam but a huge heap on cream. Not even nicely served, no china or cutlery and just one cup of tea.
