Built on a brownfield site and easily accessible from the M621. Only a few minutes walk to the city centre.
My room 1009 offered fabulous views of the city and the River Aire.
It cost £165 but you have to remember the VAT element is £27.50. I realised the cost might have had something to do with the fact Leeds United had a home game starting at 12 noon on the Sunday! Described as an executive room it was plenty good enough for me. I needed sleep and the bed was massive and comfortable.
The room had a mini fridge with coke and sparkling water.
The bathroom was nothing special but it was spotless clean, as was the room.
I did not eat in the hotel and this prevents me considering a five star rating.
I left some items and the hotel were a little slow to get on to this, but they were posted to me so all’s we’ll that ends well. I’ve not downgraded my assessment for the hotel because of this.
If you have something to attend in the middle of Leeds, this hotel given it’s location would be a very good choice to stay.
I will go back and next time sample the food on offer
