On arrival we found lovely clean beds made up, along with linen changes and towels. The kitchen was partially stock with things to get us started so we didn't have to go searching for groceries. Right across the street just steps away a very nice eatery with a tasty breakfast. Glenda was there to greet us and make us feel at home. We had her phone number and all we had to do was call if we needed anything or any questions answered.
Parking just a short walk away. The local shop merchants were very friendly and also
the pubs. All in all a lovely vacation. A sweet Bon Voyage call on the evening before we left as we were sipping a glass of complimentary wine. Thanks Glenda !

Glenda's village house was exactly what we dreamed of when booking our stay in Haworth. Located right in the middle of everything and just a few steps away from the coffee shops, bakeries, pubs, shops and restaurants. Almost everything there is to see or do in Haworth is literally at your doorstep. The house itself was beautiful and provided us with the Yorkshire village living we traveled so far to experience. The beds, bath and kitchen were all excellent, including the lovely bread and other small "surprises" waiting for us in the fridge. We were lucky enough to go to the wonderful Bronte Parsonage Museum (also located just a few steps away) on Charlotte Bronte's 199th birthday and make a toast with the president of the Bronte Society at the local pub!
We wanted to spend a couple of days exploring Haworth and the surrounding area with our two daughters. No.66 Main Street was a perfect base from which to do this. All communication with Glenda was clear and friendly and helpful, the welcome pack was filled with basic essentials and some treats too. The cottage was clean and comfortable and well equipped. It was a reasonable price. The locals were so friendly, especially the chocolate shop man and the bakery staff who cooked us sausage and bacon butties for breakfast. Our hipster teenage daughter was in vintage shop heaven and the other Bronte fan found the museum and walk up to Withens Top inspiring. A lovely stay in a lovely place.
Just spent 8 nights in this lovely cottage and could have stayed another 8.
The cottage is perfect for a self catering holiday in Haworth. It has everything you could possibly want, well equipped, tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean.
A better location in Haworth is impossible! The cottage is situated on Main Street, the cobbled thoroughfare Haworth is famous for. It's an ideal base for exploring the village and for venturing further afield.
We're already looking forward to going again.
Howarth holiday cottage is a true home from home gem! We received a lovely warm welcome from the owner Glenda, and a very generous welcome pack!! Cosy, comfortable and has a wonderful charm about it. We will certainly be back!!
