From the moment of booking right through to departure this was a good experience. We were sent a brochure in advance of our stay which included details of extras we could purchase, such as breakfast hampers and this worked really well. The Clock House is in a tranquil street right in the old part of the town and has secure off road parking right by the front door. The pretty courtyard is filled with well kept pots of plants and even a BBQ and chiminea. This old building has been sensitively renovated to a high standard and is imaginatively and stylishly furnished and decorated and has some lovely art work. Our welcome was exceptional - it took my breath away - there was a lovely welcoming note from our host, Rachel, and oh so many little touches everywhere. Absolutely everything in this property has been practically and carefully thought through to make ones stay comfortable and enjoyable in a very unobtrusive way yet, if necessary, it was easy to get in touch with Rachel. There was lots of information on what to do round and about and details about the running of the house and extras that could be ordered, all contained in two beautifully presented books. It was spotlessly clean and well maintained with a well equipped kitchen and good appliances throughout (there is a well kept folder of instructions). The fluffy white towels and Molton Brown products are out of this world and the bed so comfortable. It's the best S.C. place I have stayed in. My only regret is not remembering to buy some of the lovely art cards on sale before I left. We wouldn't hesitate to return if at all possible if we're in he area again.
Just had a wonderful stay in this fabulous property. Rachel has included every detail to make it stand out long in the memory. Fresh flowers, muffins & strawberries on arrival,Molton Brown toiletries, fluffy robes & towels etc etc. The house is so pretty & perfectly located it really ticks all the boxes. I've actually never written a review before but felt compelled to do so this time.We hope to return in the near future for the Spitfire flight that was unfortunately cancelled due to bad weather, at least our accommodation is sorted no more searching for hours for the right property - we've found it in the Clockhouse.
Clean and comfortable, within minutes walk of central Chichester and short drive or bus ride to beaches, so car not essential. Ravel very friendly and helpful. A real home from home but with added luxury extras. Definately be visiting again.
Literally have nothing but good things to say about The Clock House. We've stayed a few times but this was the first time since it was taken over. Easily the best place we have stayed and Rachel's attention to detail and little extras just made our week even more amazing than previously. Thank you again for making our time so enjoyable and we can't wait to be back!
Could not ask for a better location and the way everything has been set up in house is wonderful.
Small touches that make the stay very special and Rachel is extremely thoughtful.
Brilliant place to stay and I will hope to book again for the next time we are in town.
