My two daughters and I spent two weeks here this past August. It was perfect for us-clean, convenient for buses/rail to visit the southern English area, and our hosts were very helpful and friendly. Definitely would recommend both Arundel and this superb accommodation!

“Let's go in Arundel!”

We were here three times, from 2012 to 2015 and I can only say that is my favourite place in the world because there's all you can need. There are two flats and we were in both and they are small but complete. J.&J. are so special with us and I hope that they can on go like this. In one of the flat you can have a beautiful garden. It is near of all you can need, shops, fish&chips take away, tea rooms, swimming pool, mini golf, a little lake where you can rent a boat, pubs (our favourite is St.Mary Gate Inn), footpaths and the most beautiful castle in the world, the Arundel Castle. You don't need the car because the train station is a few minute walk, for example for a day in London (1.30h about). We were here always with our motorcycle, and you are in the center of a lot of beautiful place to visit, Brighton, London, Lewes, Eastbourn, Seven sisters natural park, Windsor Castle, Legoland, Poole, etc. So I give to this place five stars of course!

“Perfect relaxing bolthold”
Reviewed 5 October 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Stayed for 4 nights after a hectic Goodwood revival. Lovely apartment, the perfect size for our stay. The weather was changeable and the place was lovely and warm, the kitchen very well equipped. The apartment was really well kept and furbished. Direct access on to the garden and literally 5 minutes walk into the centre of Arundel.

Loved our stay and will definitely return.

“Compact, well located and equipped accommodation in unusual modern house.”
Reviewed 14 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

We were given a good welcome and friendly service throughout our stay. Ideal location for
our first trip to West Sussex, the historic town of Arundel and the seaside at Worthing. We would have liked to taken advantage of the garden, but weather did not permit! All facilities for self-catering and washing-machine a plus! Would recommend for a couple.

“Love cricket, love Arundel, then you will love Portreeves.”
Reviewed 20 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

As an ardent Yorkshire cricket fan there are few venues much nicer than the Sussex CCC ground within Arundel Castle and it is always a pleasure to visit the ground and the lovely town of Arundel and it's surroundings.
My colleague and I were delighted to have been able to book Portreeves as we know from past experience that it is usually difficult to book accommodation in Arundel whenever there is a County cricket match on. The accommodation proved to be just what we had hoped for and we had a very pleasant 5 night stop during our visit.
Self catering was ideal for our circumstances as we utilised the good kitchen facility for our breakfasts and ate out in the evenings for our dinners. The accommodation certainly met all of our needs and felt like home from home during our stay.
I would have no hesitation in returning to Portreeves in the future and recommending friends and family to stay, the owners Joanne and Jeremy have worked hard to establish their business and I'm sure they will continue to provide such an accommodating facility.
