Friendly welcome and the rear garden has stunning views out over the South Downs from which to enjoy a pleasant pre-dinner beer and glass of wine.
The service in the restaurant was very efficient. The food did not disappoint. The special of grilled gilthead bream fillet was lovely. The smoked chicken, bacon and mango salad starter also hit the spot.
