Description: On Tuesday 26th January 2016 Adam's re-opens from the winter holiday in it's new permanent home of Waterloo Street. The British Michelin Starred 36 seater restaurant located in Birmingham city centre is run by Chef patron Adam Stokes and his wife Natasha. In addition to the main restaurant which seats tables of up to 10 guests an adjacent 16 seater dining room is available for private functions. For that extra special experience there is also a chef's table located in the kitchen for exclusive use or individual groups. A la carte and tasting menus are served alongside a three course lunch menu available 12noon to 2pm, Tuesday to Friday. Please note the tasting menu is the only dining option available on a Saturday evening. The modern food is a blend of tradition marriages with inventive twists. The restaurant marries classical elegance with friendly professional service.

It’s many years since I’ve been to a top drawer restaurant with a carpeted floor. A throwback to the restaurants of yesteryear - a “lounge” restaurant. Provincial! Apart from that it was very on trend. With top class food and service. Loved the mackerel starter with crab and wasabi. The scallop intercourse was good - maybe the scallop was too big but the dashi was fab. Then hogget for main - it didn’t disappoint. Rare loin on the bone with pulled shoulder as a complement. Puds were great too. The service was very attentive and professional. Not cheap but this quality is worth it. A class act.

Well this was a experience of a lifetime, from beginning to end the experience was absolutely second to none. The waiting staff were amazing, very subtle in their approach to you, totally knowledgeable of the food they were serving. My friend is allergic to apples and they made sure that if there was any in a dish it was changed to suit her.

The atmosphere is just divine, so relaxed, cosy and comfortable.

The food was a tastebud experience, there were several things on the taster menu that I have never had before however i would definitely have again. Favourite dish was the guinea fowl. All the extra little touches of little appetisers before the manin event, the different little cakes with the coffee all made to enhance the experience, which was topped off by my friend and I both being given a happy card signed by Adam, the little box of chocolates that we were given on leaving and the maitre de who escorted us to our taxi.

Adams you have the dining experience to a tee, thank you so much for a wonderful start to my 60th birthday celebrations.

Perfect in everyway.
As you can imagine the food and service was amazing.
Staff extremally attentive and professional, Serving and clearing without disturbing us. They catered for my husbands nut allergy offering him alternatives to the tasting menu and explained every dish to us.
Wine flight was fantastic and perfectly suited to each course.

Only wish i could afford to eat here every week

The food in this 1* is far nearer to 2*'s. The service is friendly and professional. We had the taster menu and it was wonderful. I swapped a course out and there was no problem and the replacement was delicious. Fab wine to accompany (well worth going for the more expensive option 2) and Mickey the sommelier was very knowledgable. It is the little touches that make Adam's stand out - two waiters who deliver and take plates at the same time and so on. Would I go back ... for sure, it was delightful. I would recommend to anyone who fancies being thoroughly spoilt.
